Our Mission

At North Trakt Outdoors, we understand how difficult it can be to keep everyone entertained on vacation, and we are dedicated to providing unforgettable outdoor experiences. Our mission is to make outdoor recreation accessible to everyone, allowing you to try new experiences and enjoy Minnesota's stunning lakes and beautiful scenery without the burden of ownership.

What We Offer

Don't have your own equipment, don't have enough for everyone, or just want to try something new?  No problem! We offer kayak, paddleboard, tent & camping equipment, lily pads, floating rafts, towable inflatables, and yard game rentals to help you discover new places, try new things, and enjoy the gorgeous area in new ways with your group, whatever the size!

We understand that not everyone has a way to transport our gear to and from the lake or campsite, so we are happy to offer delivery & pickup to anywhere within a 10 mile radius of our Headquarters in Backus for $15. We offer delivery/pickup outside of our local radius for an additional fee. Choose the delivery add-on option that fits your needs when booking your rental.

Whether you're looking to paddle through serene lakes, get up close with wildlife, get an adrenaline rush, or simply enjoy stress-free relaxation in nature, we've got you covered! Our kayaks, paddleboards, towable inflatables, floating rafts, lily pads, tents, camping equipment, and yard games are the perfect way to explore and enjoy the great outdoors.
